Your True Colours - Daniel Sandler - Yorkshire & Humberside

Daniel Sandler has been a makeup artist and leader in his field for over 20 years. Throughout this time Daniel has developed his knowledge and huge talent for creating stunning looks. One of his fortes is making these looks wearable for real women and being able to show and explain just how easy makeup can be. He has worked on both sides of the Atlantic and all over Europe on a number of shoots with high profile fashion photographers for top glossies and with designers backstage at a number of major fashion shows and a regular on national TV.

I visited Daniel Sandler's website where I found out that he was looking for makeup artists from all over the UK to represent him and his professional makeup range. This sounded like a great idea as I was looking for ways of going to the next level in my career so I sent him my CV and photographs of my clients in the hope that he would like my work.

I was invited to attend an interview at Daniel Sandler's makeup studio at Harrods in London. The day involved demonstrating my makeup application skills to show how, as a member of the Daniel Sandler makeup artist team, I would help to promote Daniel Sandler makeup services within the Yorkshire and Humberside region.

I was 1 of only 2 people chosen out of 10 makeup artists to attend a 3 day training session in London with Daniel Sandler covering all aspects of makeup application. The training was very intensive and focused on further developing makeup application skills and techniques and practicing some of the latest makeup trends.

At the end of the 3 day training session I became a fully registered Daniel Sandler makeup artist for the Yorkshire and Humberside region.

I attend regular training sessions in London with Daniel and I have also been a member of his makeup team for special events around the country including the London Fashion Week.
