I assisted Daniel Sandler at Bradford College where he carried out a makeup techniques and application demonstration to trainee beauty therapists/makeup artists. The event was very well attended and very successful. The students were able to try out his cosmetics range and were offered big discounts on products to help them put together a professional makeup kit.

2010 is now here with a vengeance. I am now preparing for a busy wedding season this year. I have even taken some bookings for 2011! More and more brides are not prepared to risk their big day makeup by doing it themselves. Don't forget, bridal makeup is now very popular and in demand so book as soon as you have a wedding date to guarantee my services.

I have just provided my makeover services to a national newspaper. They were doing a photo shoot in Scunthorpe that will appear in the Sun and requested my mobile services to provide a makeup makeover for the girl who is appearing in the story.

I provided makeovers and makeup demonstrations at the Nail Technics salon event in Pontefract where clients were able to view products and services from the beauty and fashion industry.

I provided my services at the Forward Ladies event held in Leeds where women from around the area get a chance to network their businesses to each other.

I attended the Wakefield Hospice fund raising event at the Cedar Court Hotel in Wakefield where I provided a makeup lesson as a prize.

I provided my bridal makeup services to the winner of the Pontefract and Castleford Express wedding of the year competition who got married at the Kings Croft Hotel in Pontefract. More details will appear in this weeks edition of the Express.

Back down to London again for a one day training session with Daniel Sandler. He will personally show his team members from all over the UK the latest trends and techniques in the world of makeup application. These sessions are carried out a number of times every year.

I am providing makeup services to the 10 members of the winning salon in the GHD competition. They are being treated to a night out at the Malmaison Hotel in Leeds where myself and another Daniel Sandler makeup artist will be making them look beautiful for the evening.

I was invited as a guest lecturer to the Thomas Danby College in Leeds to show 18 students who are studying as Beauty Therapists different makeup application styles and techniques. The full day session was part of the course enrichment program.

I was a member of the Daniel Sandler makeup team who are took part in the GHD Tour held at the Royal Armories in Leeds on the 7th May. I applied several different makeup styles to the hair models before they went out on the "runway" to show off their hair styles which were done by GHD stylists.

I have been invited to attend the London Fashion Week to be a part of the Danial Sandler makeup team. I will be applying makeup to VIPs who need a little touch-up to get them through the day.

On the evening of Thursday 18th October I will be providing makeovers for models as they feature Autumn and Winter fashions from the Xcetra ladies wear boutique on Ropergate in Pontefract. The fashion show is at the Rogerthorpe Manor in Badsworth near Pontefract to raise funds for the Prince of Wales Hospice.

On the evening of Thursday 27th September I will be having a promotional stand at the Turnpike Hotel in Knottingley to help raise funds for the Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract. I will be demonstrating the Daniel Sandler makeup range by doing mini makeovers.

I have offered my bridal makeup services as part of a prize package to the winning couple of the Pontefract & Castleford Express Wedding Competition 2007. I will be a featured business in the paper in the run up to the wedding.

At the end of the 3 day training session in London, I became a fully registered Daniel Sandler makeup artist for the Yorkshire and Humberside region. As a member of the Daniel Sandler makeup artist team, I am able to offer a range of professional makeup services and retail the Daniel Sandler mineral-based makeup range, currently only available over the counter at Harrods.

I spent 3 days in London training with Daniel Sandler, one of the UK's top makeup artists covering all aspects of makeup application. The training was very intensive and focused on further developing makeup application skills and techniques and practicing some of the latest makeup trends.

I was invited to attend an interview at Daniel Sandler's makeup studio at Harrods in London. The day involved demonstrating my makeup application skills to show how, as a member of the Daniel Sandler makeup artist team, I would help to promote Daniel Sandler makeup services within the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
